High Scottish Thread Socks
Description
Scottish thread is the top-tier version of cotton. We didn't want to settle for less.
A sock seems simple enough. Except most of them start itching after three washes, pill, lose their shape, and end up balled up under your heel. We spent time on every detail so this one wouldn't do any of that.
Scottish thread isn't just a marketing name: it's long-staple cotton, combed, then gassed and mercerized. Gassing burns off the stray fibrils, giving that perfectly smooth surface and slight sheen you can feel to the touch. Mercerizing strengthens the fiber and locks in the color. The result: a silky sock from the very first wear, that doesn't pill, doesn't lose its shape, and keeps its color wash after wash.
The mid-calf height was chosen for a specific reason: it's the only length that guarantees no skin shows when you cross your legs, and that the sock won't slide down into your shoe throughout the day.
What makes the difference
- Combed, gassed, and mercerized Scottish thread cotton: silky, slightly sheened touch
- Mid-calf height: stays in place from morning to night
- Soft ribbed cuff that holds without ever marking your calf
- Flat-seamed toe: you won't feel it
- Won't pill, won't stretch out, won't fade
Composition: 76% cotton, 21% polyester, and 3% spandex.
Sizes: 38-41 / 41-44 / 44-47
Colors: White, black, gray, navy, beige, brown
Care: Machine wash at 30°C. No tumble dryer, no fabric softener: softener flattens the spandex and causes it to lose its support.
